Flight Departments Lack SMS Training

In its latest annual safety management system (SMS) audit results report, Argus says its Prism subsidiary has generally found a lack of SMS training at several business aviation flight departments. This latest report is based on 65 audits Argus performed last year, from which the Prism team reviews and compiles the results. The findings focus on areas of SMS and emergency response planning that auditors found to have the highest number of deficiencies and then provide recommendations regarding industry best practices in these areas. The report is available at no charge from Argus.
