BBJ Celebrates 15th Anniversary

The Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) celebrated its 15th anniversary last month at Ebace. To date, 207 BBJs have been sold and the backlog of 37 airplanes is worth $5.4 billion. This includes firm orders for eight VIP 747-8s and orders for “about a dozen” VIP versions of the 787-8 and 787-9. Deliveries of the VIP 747-8s will begin in the fourth quarter, with VIP 787s shipments to commence in 2013.
