Preliminary Report: Grand Caravan downed in Mexico

Cessna 208B, Felipe Carillo Puerto, Mexico, June 13, 2010–The Mexican-registered Grand Caravan was destroyed and the two crew and seven passengers on board were killed when it crashed into a heavily wooded area approximately one-tenth of a mile from the departure end of the runway at Felipe Carillo Puerto Airfield. The Mexican government is conducting the investigation with assistance from the FAA and the NTSB.
