MSP Jet Center recently added five new employees–all of whom hail from the
now-closed General Dynamics facility at MSP–to its tech services team, according to president Tim Ashenfelter.

Newly hired team members include Dan Henchal, A&P, director of technical services; Terry Speight, A&P, technical team lead; Dean Zimmel, A&P, senior aircraft maintenance technician; Bob Kortum, A&P, senior aircraft maintenance technician; and Mike Blaschko, A&P, aircraft maintenance technician.

“Dan has put together an outstanding team of technicians and I’m excited
about the business opportunity here at Minneapolis/St. Paul International,” Ashenfelter told AIN. Immediately before joining the company, Henchal worked
on mid-cabin Gulfstreams for General Dynamics Aviation Services and before that was with Dallas Airmotive for eight years as regional turbine shop manager for the company’s Honeywell TFE731 major service center in Minneapolis.
