Emteq recently unveiled what it is calling “Easy HD” for its SkyPro cabin management system (CMS). It provides high-definition components that work independently of an aircraft’s existing CMS and “requires little or no modification of the CMS.”

It replaces existing analog bulkhead monitors with SkyPro high-definition monitors, sized from 10.4 to 64 inches, and is adaptable to cabin management systems from other manufacturers. Easy HD can also be mated to existing cabin sound systems or the SkyPro speaker and digital sound options.

Honda recently selected Emteq’s SkyPro and high-definition for its new HondaJet. The HondaJet package will include high-definition touch-screen monitors with audio/ video on-demand, the SkyShow interactive, 3-D high-definition moving map and cabin controls for Emteq LED lighting.
