Arkansas Politicians Support Bizavs

While some members of Congress have taken an antagonistic stance toward business aviation in recent times, two senators from Arkansas expressed their support for the industry at a forum held last month at Dassault Falcon’s Little Rock National Airport facility. Senators Mark Pryor (D) and Blanche Lincoln (D) joined Governor Mike Beebe (D) at the General Aviation Jobs for Arkansas Forum sponsored by the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) along with Dassault Falcon and Hawker Beechcraft. “Dassault and Hawker provide high-quality, high-paying jobs in our state, and the work their employees perform is so important to the long-term success of the Arkansas economy,” Senator Lincoln told the audience of more than 500 community leaders and aviation industry workers. Senator Pryor, who sits on the Senate commerce committee, echoed that sentiment.
