Avatas Acquires Prime Turbines

Dallas-based Avatas Aerospace, an FAA-approved repair station specializing in the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A, has acquired Hyannis, Mass.-based Prime Turbines. Prime Turbines’ services include hot-section inspections; power section and gas generator repair; and fuel nozzle and bleed valve overhaul and exchange for PT6 engines. Prime Turbines is also an authorized distributor of FAA PMA parts for PT6 hot sections.
