Signature Flight Support’s new St. Louis Lambert International Airport facility, the 42nd FBO in the company’s chain, is now open for business. The facility was previously known as Midcoast Aviation and emerged as part of a sublease agreement that allows Midcoast to continue to provide aircraft maintenance at the location. The new Signature FBO is housed in more than 100,000 sq ft of floor space that includes four aircraft storage hangars, an executive passenger terminal and associated office and shop space. Services at the FBO include fueling, arrangements for ground transportation and catering, aircraft de-icing, cabin cleaning and hangar and office space. The facility will also participate in Signature incentive programs such as Hyper Power and Net Power. Signature has installed Joe Gibney, a five-year Signature veteran previously at Signature Dallas, as general manager, but otherwise said it will retain employees previously working at Midcoast.
