Yingling Aviation recently opened a new 15,500-sq-ft facility that will include 12,000 sq ft of hangar space in addition to a customer spec room, shops and offices. In recent years the Wichita-based company has focused on its Oasis program, installing executive/VIP cabins in Cessna Caravans. According to Yingling president Lynn Nichols, the company has delivered 47 Oasis Caravans in the past two-and-a-half years and is moving steadily into cabin refurbishment of larger aircraft, in particular Citations. The move complements the company’s recent decision to sell Cessna aircraft again after a 15-year hiatus. “We’re able to acquire, refurbish and, if necessary, modify aircraft to fit the needs of our customers,” said Nichols.
