In The Works: Comp Air CA12

Expect to see the first flying Comp Air Model 12 single-
engine turboprop at the Sun ’n’ Fun Fly-In from April 17 through 23 in Lakeland, Fla. Comp Air has pushed the planned certification date to 2010 from 2009 but intends to begin taking orders at Sun ’n’ Fun. After the show, Comp Air president Ron Lueck plans to announce which company has been selected to partner in the certification process. The Honeywell TPE331-14GR-powered CA12 seats nine passengers, will offer a claimed range of 2,535 nm and payload with full fuel of nearly 1,000 pounds.
