Hans Doll was promoted to director of customer and product support for Grob Aerospace. He was previously head of sales for Grob training aircraft. Denzil White was named director of international sales for the Grob training fleet as well as director of special mission aircraft.
Raytheon Aircraft promoted Ted Farid to v-p of new business development; Sean McGeough to v-p of international sales; and Marc Mannella to director of flight operations. Farid was previously v-p of international sales. McGeough has worked closely with Farid managing Hawker and Beechcraft sales directors in Europe, Africa, India and the Middle East. Mannella spent several years conducting certification flight tests in the Hawker 4000. Randy Znamenak was named v-p of sales and marketing. He was most recently v-p of sales and marketing for Stevens Aviation. The company also announced that Dr. Chittur Venkatasubban and Ken Minks were named engineering fellows.
Oakland, Calif.-based KaiserAir promoted Rob Guerra to v-p for aircraft asset management and client relations and Jim Strickland to CFO. The company also named Beth Medlen as v-p of properties and line service. Medlen replaces Greg Rorabaugh, who has taken a position with Chevron Global Aviation.
Mario Asselin was promoted to v-p of engineering at Sino Swearingen Aircraft. He was previously lead engineer for stability and control. The company also announced the appointment of David Bauman as v-p of southeast Missouri operations. Bauman was most recently senior v-p of aircraft maintenance for NetJets Aviation in Columbus, Ohio.
Jacksonville, Fla.-based SkyPlus Technologies named John Willis III as COO and Charles “Chuck” Curry as v-p of operations and product development. Willis was previously president of Raytheon Aircraft Services. Curry held senior positions at Raytheon Aircraft Services, Baker Electronics and KC Aviation.
Benjamin Burton was promoted to staff vice president of compliance and regulatory affairs for FlightSafety International. Burton joined the company last year and led the team responsible for FAA and JAA compliance.
The company also promoted John Van Maren to the new position of director of FlightSafety simulation operations support. He was most recently director of program management for FlightSafety Simulation.
Walter Valarezo joined aircraft lessor AWAS Aviation Services as senior vice president. He was previously v-p of marketing for CIT Aerospace.
Kansas City, Mo.-based Executive AirShare named Adam Letts director of operations, based at Mid Continent Airport in Wichita. He was previously a corporate pilot for PremAir, a corporate pilot and director of maintenance for L.S. Management and held various positions at Cessna.
Karl Childs has joined Broomfield, Colo.-based Jet Advisors as a private jet advisor. He was previously v-p of sales and marketing at Raytheon Aircraft and Sabreliner and held a similar position at Cessna.
Devlyn Warren was promoted to director of corporate development and CFO for M7 Aerospace’s visual intelligence business unit. He was previously a senior financial analyst.
Thomas Haueter was named director of the NTSB’s office of aviation safety. He has served as acting director of the office since last November. Haueter has been with the Board for 23 years as an airworthiness investigator and investigator-in-charge.
David Greer was promoted to director of quality and organizational excellence at Associated Air Center, a Landmark Aviation company at Dallas Love Field. He was previously a process leader.
Marianne Carlino joined West Palm Beach, Fla.-based Galaxy Aviation as customer relations manager.
Darren Peetam has joined the inside sales team of CRS Jet Spares, and Nelson Leal and Kristina Parisi joined the inside sales and customer service teams for the company.
Monaco Air Duluth named Wendy Hillila customer service supervisor. She was previously a flight attendant for United Airlines.
Denver-based Avtrak named Mark Steinwender, Bob Stanton and Paul Adams to its support staff. Steinwender was most recently employed by Raytheon Aircraft in program sales and customer support. Stanton previously led the Hawker group of the Facts maintenance-tracking program at Raytheon Aircraft. Adams also worked with that program.
Salem, Ore.-based AirBP Aviation Services named Noel Fournier business aviation manager. He was most recently vendor relations manager/charter department supervisor for Avjet.
Gretchen Jahn was named general manager of Alpha Aviation, manufacturer of the Alpha 160A. Jahn, previously CEO of Mooney, replaces Richard Sealy, who has been appointed deputy group managing director of Gregory Australia.
Mark Wise, director of maintenance for Van Nuys, Calif.-based Elite Aviation, has been selected to serve on Gulfstream’s customer advisory board as a member of the maintenance and operations committee. The company also announced that Gary Hart, director of in-flight services, will become a member of the Hotel and Catering International Management Association.
David Brinkley, a charter pilot for Atlanta-based Epps Aviation, retired at the end of January. He logged 19,000 flight hours during his career.
Universal Weather & Aviation announced the restructuring of its management team. Greg Evans, formerly CEO, was named board chairman; Marjorie Evans, former chairman, is now vice chairman; Ralph Vasami is now president and CEO; and Dave Diulus, former v-p of network services, is now executive vice president and COO.
Bombardier announced the following changes to its business aircraft sales team: Bob Horner, v-p of international sales with responsibilities for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Central and South America; Mike Fahey, v-p of worldwide Learjet sales; Ed Thomas, regional v-p of Learjet sales in the U.S; and Paul Schenian, managing director of pre-owned aircraft handling worldwide pre-owned sales.
Paradigm Aerospace of Mount Pleasant, Pa., formerly HAS Corp., named Ed Pears president.
Tampa, Fla.-based Walkabout Air named David Esteves director of maintenance.
