Securaplane Technologies has signed new distributor agreements for Hawker main ship batteries with Corporate Jet Support, Cirrus Aero Accessories and CRS Jet Spares.

Corporate Jet Support, located near Teterboro Airport in New Jersey, provides parts to Gulfstream operators. Cirrus Aero Accessories, located in Phoenix, is a full-service battery facility and provides new and overhauled batteries for large turboprop and small turbofan aircraft, including Beech 1900s, Dash 8s, ATRs and King Airs. CRS Jet Spares, located in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., provides parts to the business jet and turbine helicopter markets, with an emphasis on Challengers, Hawkers and Learjets.

Securaplane has received STC/ PMA approval for pure-lead main ship battery systems for the Challenger 600 and 601, Falcon 2000 and 2000EX, Hawker 600, 700, 800 and 800XP, and Gulfstream II, III and IV. The company also announced that its Hawker 43 AH “pure lead” main ship battery is now PMA’d for the Cessna Citation 500 series.

According to a company spokesman, it has been designed specifically as a replacement for existing nicad and lead acid batteries and is equipped with a thermal sensor designed to interface with the existing battery thermal monitoring system.
