Swiss manufacturer Pilatus elevated Thomas Bosshard from COO to president and CEO of its U.S. subsidiary, Pilatus Business Aircraft, in mid-2002, replacing Angelo Fiataruolo, who had held the position for two years. A Swiss national, Bosshard was called back to his native land last year to take the position of COO at parent company Pilatus Aircraft. In his place in Broomfield, Colo., Thomas Hunziker was named president and CEO of the U.S. operation. Hunziker joined Pilatus in 1999.

A Pilatus spokesman at the time told AIN, “The change in command is good news all around for Pilatus and all the people involved. The GA business currently represents more than 60 percent of the company’s revenue, and we’re excited to have Thomas Bosshard’s experience in the GA market at such a high level in the overall company.” Pilatus shipped 80 PC-12s in 2005 and looked set to bump that number up to 90 (a new high) as last year drew to a close.
