Sabreliner has announced the following personnel appointments: Ronnie Herman, senior v-p of operations; Gene Harbula, senior v-p of business development; Gene Findley, senior director of operations; Bernie Herkenhoff, senior director of the St. Genevieve operation; Gina Bey, senior manager for eastern region sales and service; and Beth Thomas, senior manager of international and western region sales and service.

Snecma named Philippe Petitcolin chairman and CEO. He replaces Mark Ventre, who was named executive v-p of the Safran Group.

Executive Jet Management promoted Ronald Silverman to senior v-p of client services and named Nancy Peterson v-p of marketing. Silverman was previously v-p of client relations. Peterson was most recently director of marketing and sales support at real estate company Five Seasons.

Gregory Brunk was named area general manager for the Fort Lauderdale and Miami locations for Sheltair Aviation Services. He was most recently manager of operations and product integrity for Galaxy Aviation in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Jim Carr was named senior v-p of operations for AirSure, a division of Van Gilder Insurance.

Brendon Docherty joined TAG Aviation as regional v-p of aircraft acquisition and sales. He most recently operated his own aircraft brokerage firm in Chicago.

Boise, Idaho-based Chelton Flight Systems named Jake Hart v-p of autopilot systems and Jim Shirey v-p of business development.

Universal Weather & Aviation announced the following personnel announcements: Lynda Parsons, chief information officer and member of the executive council; Adolfo Aragon, director of UVglobal Network; John Bradley, manager of UVglobal Network Operations; Roger Cox, general manager of Universal Aviation Australia; Walter Lindo, regional director of Latin America and the Caribbean; Arturo Machuca, UVglobal network contract member manager; Charlie Mularski, UVglobal Network business development manager; Rob Morris, v-p of Air Service Hawaii.

Doug Bach was promoted to v-p of sales and marketing for Tempe, Ariz.-based MedAire. Bach was previously director of product management.

Joe Rivera was named a director of Bombardier’s Fort Lauderdale Service Center. He was most recently director of aircraft services for Gulfstream.

John Clark has been named chief scientist for aeronautical engineering for the NTSB. He was previously director of aviation safety.

Berwyn, Pa.-based JetDirect named Joseph Nezi v-p of sales for the northeast region.
Andy Biller joined the avionics installation sales team of Duncan Aviation, focusing on the sales and marketing of the company’s Glass Box Project initiative, a cockpit LCD retrofit for select business aircraft. Biller joined Duncan’s aircraft sales and acquisition group in 2002.

Raytheon Aircraft named Rick Howitt international field service regional manager for the Asia-Pacific region. He replaces Mark Shepard, who has accepted the position of sales and business development manager with Hawker Aircraft services in Chester, England.

Executive Jet provider JetBird has named Patrick Raferty operations director. He was most recently operations manager for NetJets Europe.

Acrohelipro Global Service, a subsidiary of Vector Aerospace named John Nicholson executive v-p with responsibility for U.S. operations and global sales and marketing.
Michael Eberle was named chief pilot of Dallas-based SevenBar Flying Service. He was previously assistant chief pilot for Dallas operations.

Chuck Thomas was chosen to lead Bombardier Corporate Shuttle Solutions sales across the U.S. Thomas has 19 years experience in corporate aircraft sales and has worked with Bombardier Business Aircraft sales for the past five years.

Shelley Hedrick joined Million Air Dallas as director of charter sales and marketing. She was most recently director of operations for Perfect Jet Travel.

The National Air Transportation Association promoted Jacqueline Rosser to director of regulatory affairs and Lindsey McFarren to manager of regulatory affairs. Rosser was previously senior manager of regulatory affairs. McFarren was previously manager of research and special projects.

Philippe Rochet was named managing director of EADS Sogerma Services. He was previously president of the aeronautic and defense branch of Daher Lhotellier Services.

Chesterfield, Mo.-based JetCorp named Chris Heredia regional sales manager for the Western U.S. and Jim McDonough regional sales manager for the southeastern U.S.
Kristi Ivey joined NBAA as northwest regional representative, a newly created position. She was most recently flight operations supervisor for The Home Depot’s flight department.

Elta Systems, a subsidiary of Israel Aircraft Industries, named Yosef Fouks general manager of its Signal Intelligence, electronic warfare and communications division and Yosef Oren general manager of its Imint and radar division.

Patrick Platt joins Avcard as director of sales. He was previously director of corporate transportation for a Fortune 100 flight department.

Savannah Air Center named Mike Slattery director of operations and Duane Damiani v-p of sales and aircraft acquisitions. Slattery was most recently v-p and general manager of DunnAir Completion Center in Tucson, Ariz. Damiani was most recently director of aircraft sales for Jet Aviation.
