Breno Correa joined Embraer as vice president of executive jets marketing and sales for Latin America. He was most recently sales director for a São Paulo, Brazil-based business aircraft sales and charter company.

Iridium Satellite named Matthew Desch chairman and CEO. He is replacing Dan Colussy, chairman of Iridium Holdings. In addition Desch will become CEO of Iridium Holdings, while Colussy will remain chairman of Iridium Holdings.

Dennis Ferguson is joining Mooney Airplane Company as CEO. He succeeds Gretchen Jahn, who resigned in September. Ferguson was most recently president of Airshow.

Sherry Carbary has been named president of Alteon Training. She replaces Patrick Gaines, who has been appointed Boeing v-p of customer support for the Asia-Pacific region. Carbary was previously vice president of strategic management for Boeing Commercial Airplanes.

The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) has named Ashley Moore manager of government and industry affairs.

Steve Barlage joins Dallas Airmotive as Rolls-Royce regional engine manager for the Northeast. The company also named Matt Hussey, formerly director of repair engineering and product development, general manager of its Lafayette, La., component repair facility. Daniel McLandsborough joins Dallas Airmotive as Pratt & Whitney Canada regional engine manager for the North Central U.S.

AirCell named Thomas Weigman senior vice president of wireless services.

Larry Dickenson
is the new head of sales for Boeing’s commercial airplane unit. He replaces Scott Carson, who was promoted to CEO.

Jet Aviation announced several new management appointments at the NBAA Convention last month. In February Andre Wall will succeed Heinz Köhli as COO, while Köhli will focus solely on his CEO responsibilities. In addition, Dr. Hartwig Grevener joined the group as CFO.

Million Air announced several personnel changes. Jeffrey Reid has been named executive v-p of Million Air Charter, and Debbie Zener has been named executive v-p of Million Air marketing. Zener will replace Sandy Nelson, who has been promoted to chief brand officer.

Keith Bleier has been named senior vice president and CFO of FBO Air.

Portland, Ore.-based Simplex Manufacturing has named David George its new director of sales.

Duncan Aviation has named Dan Chilla an engine service sales representative. He will focus on Pratt & Whitney engines.

Landmark Aviation appointed Jim McNeill regional v-p for FBO operations.

Tim Spahr has joined Pinnacle Aviation as director of charter sales and management services. He was most recently director of sales and charter management services at ACM/San Jose Jet Center.

JetDirect Aviation named Joseph Nezi vice president of aircraft sales for the company’s Northeast region, which currently consists of Delaware, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Also, Martin Dyer is the new director of operations for JetDirect Aviation’s Summit Aviation unit.

Dallas-based Business Jet Access has named Joseph Warren business development strategist for its aircraft charter and management divisions.

Yvette Marquez-Kent has joined Raisbeck Engineering as director of marketing services.

Roger Overturf has joined Wichita-based Franson Consulting, a marketing communications, public and media relations consulting firm.

Art Manni has joined Phoenix-based Downing Aviation Associates as a senior associate.

The board of directors of the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada has named Don Campbell, executive vice president of CAE, chairman for 2006-2007. Also named to the board are John Keating, CEO of Com Dev; Michael McAdoo, v-p for strategy and business development at Bombardier; Gerry Kouverianos, v-p, Airbus Regional Business; and Robert Palmer, senior v-p for business development and government relations at Meggitt Defence Systems Canada.
