David Bender was named president of the electronics group at Lynwood, Wash.-based Crane Aerospace & Electronics. Bender was previously v-p of operations at Aerojet General Corp. Tim King was named director of sales and marketing for the company’s aerospace group.

Israel Aircraft Industries named Itzhak Nissan president and acting CEO. Moshe Keret will continue to serve as CEO until his planned retirement at the end of this month.

Jet Aviation appointed John Langevin v-p and general manager of the company’s Teterboro Airport FBO. He previously was director of FBO services at the airport.

Houston-based Air Security International named Scott McHugh senior v-p of business development and Steven Kellner quality control manager for the intelligence division.

Bethesda, Md.-based Iridium named Jim Hamant v-p of product production and distribution and David Schoen v-p of technology development.

San Antonio-based Sino Swearingen Aircraft announced the following appointments to its senior-level management team: Kelly Simmons, senior v-p and CFO; Steve Crawford, v-p of customer service; Richard Crail, v-p of supply chain; and Glenn Jensen, v-p of human resources. The company also announced that Gene Comfort, senior v-p of sales and marketing, has left the company to pursue other interests.

FlightSafety International announced the following appointments: Steve Gross, director of worldwide sales; Jon Pollack, manager of the company’s new e-learning center; and Julie Goodridge, manager of the company’s West Palm Beach, Fla. learning center.

Phoenix-based Cutter Aviation named Brad Kathrins general manager of its operations at Phoenix Sky Harbor and Deer Valley Airports.

Philip Gibson has joined the combined company of San Jose Jet Center and ACM Aviation as chief pilot.

Issy Boim, founder of Air Security International, joined Cypress, Texas-based Confidential Group to provide ground security services to general aviation operators and their passengers.

Dan Pignato has joined the Banyan Pilot Shop in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., as shop manager.

The Citigroup Private Bank has announced the expansion of its aircraft finance unit with the addition of Larry Dean, v-p and group asset evaluator; John Germaske, v-p and western transactor; and Len Liotta, v-p and eastern and central transactor.

Jimmy Rong, an S-Tec flight systems engineer, has been appointed to the American Institute of Aerospace and Aeronautics General Aviation Systems Technical Committee.

Dassault Falcon announced the following sales appointments: Cass Anderson, regional sales manager for the Western U.S.; Bob Kane, director of sales for Canada; and Mark Greenwood, regional sales manager for the eastern states.
