Hugh Boyd, Chevron’s chief pilot, died in a snowmobiling accident in February. He was a corporate pilot for 30 years.

J. J. Ingalls, a former employee of the line service and customer service teams at Combs Aviation’s Denver Stapleton FBO, died on March 2 from cancer. He was 72. Ingalls, who was hired by Combs Aviation to wash aircraft windshields, later led aircraft to the ramp and performed other customer service duties.
Through his acquaintances with the customers who came through the airport (many of them famous), Ingalls became the symbol of customer service for Combs Aviation (later known as Combs-Gates and AMR Combs) and the center of the company’s advertising campaign. He is survived by his wife, Suzy, a daughter and a son.
