Georgia Man Pleads Guilty to Forging STC
Andrew K. Anderson pled guilty to a charge of conspiracy on July 23 in U.S. District Court, Atlanta, Georgia, for his role in the forgery of a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC). Anderson, owner of Andrew K. Anderson, Aviation Consultant, Cartersville, Georgia, was contracted by SIA Engineering to obtain STCs to make interior modifications to a Boeing aircraft owned and operated by Dubai Air Wing, a branch of the government of Dubai. Anderson subsequently forged the STCs and provided them to Dubai Air Wing, claiming they were issued by the FAA.
