Crews of aircraft headed for Australia next month should be prepared to encounter delays if they’re bound for Brisbane Airport (YBBN), Australia, the continent’s third busiest. The airport is about to start construction of an 11,800-foot runway parallel to the existing Runway 1/19, expected to become operational by 2020. Work begins next month with the closing of intersecting Runway 14/32 for five months to prepare nearby ground for construction.
