Bombardier model CL600-2C10 (Regional Jet Series 700, 701, 702); CL600-2D15 (Regional Jet Series 705); CL600-2D24 (Regional Jet Series 900); CL600- 2E25 (Regional Jet Series 1000) airplanes are the subjects of FAA Airworthiness Directive 2012-10-07, concerning the oxygen system pressure regulator.

The agency is concerned that some batches of raw material used to build the regulators may not meet aviation specifications. The danger is that the regulator could deform and rupture the oxygen cylinder, leaving the aircraft with no backup supply in an emergency.

The AD becomes effective June 29, 2012.
