Beechcraft Global Customer Support named Edwards Jet Center in Billings, Mont., an authorized service center for the King Air, Baron and Bonanza.

Founded in 1947, Edwards Jet Center is an FBO, FAA-certified repair station and FAA Part 135 on-demand charter operator. The MRO employs 18 full-time A&P mechanics with capabilities for piston, turboprop and jet aircraft.

“We’ve worked on Beech aircraft for 20 years and currently have six King Airs on our Part 135 certificate. We’re very familiar with the product line, and being named an authorized service center was a natural partnership for both us and Beechcraft,” general manager Robb Bergeson told AIN.

The burgeoning oil and gas industry in this region is driving increased demand for the King Air, and Beechcraft and Edwards Jet Center wanted to be in a better position to serve operators in the region, he added.
