The future is uncertain for Waterford, Mich.-based aviation services provider Aerodynamics Inc. (ADI) after the company laid off its remaining MRO staff, including president Cheryl Bush, last week. At the beginning of October, the company, which also operates an FBO and aircraft management business at Oakland County International Airport, announced a suite of layoffs of approximately half its employees, and another round followed earlier this month, around the same time its subsidiary ADI Shuttle Group filed for bankruptcy protection, citing more than $1 million in liabilities.

The company had been in negotiations with a major service provider chain for its sale, including its Part 145 repair station, which recently employed approximately 50 technicians and mechanics.

According to several company insiders, many of the former employees were owed several weeks of pay when they were released. Attempts to contact the company were unsuccessful as of press time.

Slimeiest company in the aviation industry. Stay far away from any company associated with Scott Beale!
