Gol Linhas Aereas Inteligentes has received authorization from Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) to provide conventional and electrostatic painting, weighing and recalibration services for other companies’ aircraft in its maintenance center in Confins, Belo Horizonte. ANAC’s authorization covers the Boeing 737-700 and 737-800, identical to those of Gol’s fleet, as well as the 737-300. A spokesman for the airline told AIN this builds upon a 71,000-sq-ft facility constructed two years ago to develop space for shops to support wheels and brakes, paint and interiors.
