OEMs Plan Super Bowl Product Support Services

Manufacturers are offering stepped-up support for visitors traveling by business aircraft to Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis, Ind., February 5. Bombardier is positioning field service representatives at local Indianapolis FBOs to help Learjet, Challenger and Global operators with any last-minute problems. Bombardier’s North American customer services team will be standing by, including parts logistics representatives and mobile repair engineers. Hawker Beechcraft’s Global Customer Support division offers a mobile support technical services team that is based at the company’s Hawker Beechcraft Services facility at Indianapolis International Airport. The team can handle tire changes, minor inspections and general troubleshooting at any of the area airports, according to a Hawker Beechcraft spokesman. During the Super Bowl, Hawker Beechcraft is hosting a customer event at its Indianapolis hangar. “Our [Indianapolis] service center Eagle Creek Aviation Services is fully prepared to assist any Embraer customer who needs it,” said an Embraer spokeswoman. Gulfstream has positioned five technicians at Indianapolis International Airport with a fully equipped service truck, and two field service reps will also be in place. Dassault Falcon is planning to have extra support in place during the Super Bowl. And Cessna plans to have a mobile service unit on site with several technicians standing by.
