Dassault Launches Falcon Dispatch Plus
Falcon 900 and 2000 operators now have a new tool available to help reduce operating costs and improve dispatch availability. Falcon Dispatch Plus, developed by Dassault in partnership with its factory-authorized service centers, is based on a fleet analysis of more than 900 Falcons. Dassault learned which modifications and improvements are the most effective in reducing costs and downtime then developed a package that combines them. “Falcon Dispatch Plus is a package of service bulletins and improved parts specifically chosen by Dassault Falcon engineers that will increase dispatch reliability,” Ron Matysik, manager of service engineering, told AIN. Implementing this new package is significantly less costly than performing the same service bulletins individually and can be completed during a 2A Check without additional downtime, according to Dassault. The program is implemented at no cost on all aircraft enrolled in FalconCare. Matysik said the cost and downtime depend on the individual aircraft and the number of service bulletins that have already been applied. “The true savings won’t be a dollar figure but rather the increased aircraft dispatch rate,” he said. For operators not enrolled in FalconCare, Dassault is offering a 10-hour labor credit.
