BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul Group has positioned three mobile response vehicles to the Dallas/Fort Worth area to support visitors to the Super Bowl, company president Hugh McElroy told AIN. There are more than a dozen business aviation airports within a 60-minute drive of the Super Bowl site. ìWeíve positioned mobile response vehicles and technicians at Dallas Love Field and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and we have more than 20 additional technicians in the area ready to help when needed.î The vehicles and field service technicians will be able to deploy to any airport in the D/FW metro area. ìWe also have two engine repair and overhaul facilities in the D/FW area so we are able to offer comprehensive service for virtually any engine event that may occur,î he added. According to McElroy, the company has 11 mobile response vehicles across the U.S., each equipped to perform field work ranging from LRU replacement to on-site APU hot-section inspection. ìWeíll be adding several more mobile response vehicles this year,î he said.
