Twin Commander Aircraft has begun planning for the 10th edition of its Twin Commander University owner/operator conference. The event will be held next year at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point in Bonita Springs, Fla., from April 28 to 30. Matt Isley, the company’s president, told AIN that maintenance topics will include service publication review and updates, current issues, new products and updates and a review of Twin Commander Aircraft’s ongoing engineering projects to support the fleet. “We’ll also be doing what we call ‘gotchas,’ the dos and don’ts of Commander maintenance and operations,” Isley said. According to Isley, the curriculum will follow the format of previous Universities, with an opening-day class on radar, followed by two days of seminars devoted to the operation, maintenance and upgrade of Twin Commanders. “The University is a key component of our commitment to support the fleet,” he said. “It’s a hands-on opportunity for owners, operators and prospective owners to interact with experts on all issues having to do with flying and caring for their aircraft.
