EASA Gives Nod to Bell 407GX

The Bell 407GX earned EASA certification yesterday, following similar approvals by Transport Canada and the FAA earlier this year. Since the Bell 407GX was introduced in March at Heli-Expo, Bell Helicopter has received orders for more than 60 of the Garmin G1000HTM-equipped 407GXs, with the first one expected to be delivered next month. The 407GX’s integrated flight deck increases pilot situational awareness, improves operational capability and enhances safety, Bell said.
