Readers who participated in the 2009 AIN FBO Survey picked Sugar Land Regional Airport as the top FBO this year, displacing long-time number-one favorite Wilson Air Center Memphis to second place. City-owned and -run Sugar Land was the only FBO to top the 9.00 mark in this year's survey. In third place is Pentastar Aviation Pontiac. Business Jet Center’s Dallas FBO was ranked fourth, followed by Meridian Teterboro at fifth place. AirFlite Long Beach is consistently in the Top Ten but moved to sixth place from last year’s third. Banyan Air Services remains seventh, while Tampa International Jet Center made a huge jump to eighth place, up from last year’s 35th ranking. Million Air Dallas and Texas Jet tied for ninth place, followed by Scottsdale Air Center and Enterprise Jet Center tying for the 10th-place ranking. Irving Aviation Services of Gander, Newfoundland, was the top non-U.S. FBO in the survey of North, South and Central America, U.S. territories and Caribbean FBOs.
