In mid-2002, former Pilatus Business Aircraft COO Thomas Bosshard was named president and CEO of this U.S. subsidiary of the Swiss manufacturer of the PC-12 turboprop single. He replaced Angelo Fiataruolo, who had been president since July 2000. Now, Bosshard, a Swiss national, is returning to Switzerland, where he has been promoted to COO of parent company Pilatus Aircraft. Thomas Hunziker, also a Swiss national, is the new president and CEO of the U.S. unit in Broomfield, Colo. He joined Pilatus in 1999. “The change in command is good news all around for Pilatus and all the people involved,” a spokesman told AIN. “The GA business currently represents more than 60 percent of the company’s revenue, and we’re excited to have Thomas Bosshard’s experience in the GA market at such a high level in the overall company.” Pilatus, which delivered 80 PC-12s last year, plans to ship 90 this year.
