Air Works of Bangalore has become Honeywell’s first authorized service and support center in key growth market India, with the agreement covering the stocking/provision and servicing of mechanical and avionics components for Dassault and Gulfstream aircraft.

Paulo Carmassi, Honeywell Aerospace president Europe, Middle East and Africa, said that the arrangement would allow it to “expand support in India and the Middle East region by positioning LRUs [line-replaceable units] intended for AOG [aircraft on the ground] support in Bangalore.”

Examples of components covered by the contract are fuel pumps, digital engine-control units, displays and enhanced ground-proximity warning (EGPWS) units. Air Works will offer these for the Dassault Falcon 2000, 900 and 7X; and the Gulfstream GIV, V, 450 and 550.
