AAR has been selected by Cobham Aviation Services UK to provide repair management and overhaul services in support of Cobham’s maintenance facility in Bournemouth, England. AAR’s Defense Systems & Logistics operating unit will manage the program. AAR will provide a single point of contact for the repair of components that Cobham previously serviced internally or outsourced to multiple vendors. The program will focus primarily on Cobham’s Falcon 20, Dornier 228 and King Air aircraft. AAR’s repair management services will enable Cobham to streamline its supply chain and increase the efficiency of its maintenance operations. “We are excited to work with Cobham to provide them with an efficient, cost-effective component repair program in support of their maintenance activities,” said David Perri, vice president and general manager of AAR Defense Systems & Logistics. AAR was also recently selected to provide supply-chain services and logistics support as a member of the Northrop Grumman team on the KC-10 Extender Contractor Logistics Support program.
